Experience And Empathy
At the Neuropsychiatric Clinic, we understand what you need for appropriate mental health care. Since 2005, we’ve been working with people all around Atlanta to help them cope with many different types of issues.
What makes us different is that we understand that every person is different. There are no “cookie-cutter” approaches to treatment. Everyone we see gets a highly customized treatment plan for the best possible outcome.
Randy T. Warner, Psychiatrist, MD, ABPN
I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. after having passed a stringent written examination in the subject matter of Psychiatry and Neurology. As well, oral examination with actual patients under the scrutiny of experts in the field. I have 23 years of experience in treating children, adolescents, and adults; inpatient and outpatient. I am trained and familiar with various modalities of psychotherapy; however, I am not currently a primary therapist as I coordinate care. I provide Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for treatment-resistant depression which can be life-changing for resistant depression.
My practice orientation is Neuropsychiatry. The brain and mind are inseperable. I most often explain to patients the analogy of disorders of the brain and mind to hardware and software. The brain being the hardware which enables the mind to process. The mind being the software which is the collective and unique experience (programming) of each individual.
I attempt to fully enlist every person under my care so that they take ownership of their treatment in an active manner. My patients are encouraged to ask questions and to understand how we arrived at our diagnostic impressions and why we will proceed in the manner that is best suited for an optimal outcome. Psychoeducation is essential in patient care.
