We are now offering telepsychatric services on a case to case basis for patients located in the state of GA using Zoom software via mobile phone or personal computer. For a limited time during this Covid-10 pandemic most insurers are reimbursing to the extent that they are responsible. This shall not apply to co-pays and/or deductibles that are the patient's responsibility and would be due prior to the appointment. Self pay patients would be required to pay a deposit at the time of booking and the remainder of the visit prior to the appointment. For self pay patients, there are no restrictions on treatment site location now or prior to the Covid-19 pandemic other than the prescribing of controlled substances which is currently allowed due to our national health crisis.
We now offer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) a highly effective and safe non medication treatment that can be used with or without medication. Although FDA approved for treatment resistant depression it has been found to be effective for a variety of co-morbid psychiatric conditions including Anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). It is covered by Tricare, Medicare and most major insurance networks in primary and/or secondary coverage. In many instances there may be little to no out of pocket cost to the patient. We will be offering afternoon and evening hours in our TMS practice for the accessibility and convenience of all patients, including the typical working person.
